Cheerleading Competitors

This Weekend the Wheatland Union High School competition cheer team exceeded our expectations and ended up taking 2nd place at the regional competition. This competition took place in Antioch California, where over 100 teams were competing to show their skills and talents that have been learned over this past season. Our team did everything we expected and more, allowing us to bring a plaque back to Wheatland. This team has passed through a lot of adversity this year, and through it all showed how determined they were to place. We could not be more proud of them and the work they put in this season. From the 6am practices, to the long enduring practices ours athletes showed what it means to be a pirate.
